About

Hi, I'm Clacey!

I'm the face behind Joy in the Magic Travel and a travel professional who's a little (okay, a lot) obsessed with all things Disney and Universal. My love for the parks started as a kid, and now, watching my own kids experience Disney has taken that magic to a whole new level.

Shortly after my kid's first Disney trip, I heard about a family who'd gone and had a rough time - long lines, no plan, and a vacation spent overwhelmed instead of enjoyed. That story, paired with the success of my own trip with kids, is what pushed me to turn my love of Disney details and planning into this business.

Today, I help families and couples plan trips to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Universal Destinations - handling everything from resort selection and dining reservations to Lightning Lane strategy and touring plans. My goal is simple: take the overwhelm out of planning so you can focus on the fun part, actually going!!!

And because I'm compensated by the resorts and travel suppliers I book packages with my planning services cost you nothing.

When I'm not at Disney or buried in park maps and dining menus, you can find me volunteering at my kid's school, cheering my boys on at a sports field or on the Texas or Florida coast. I also have two dogs that demand a ton of attention, Winnie and Belle (named after, you guessed it, Winnie the Pooh and Belle from Beauty and The Beast)!

Our favorite resort on property is the Riviera, and our favorite rides are Guardians of the Galaxy and Radiator Springs Racers. I have two must have Disney snacks: cheeseburger spring rolls in Magic Kingdom and Churros (both parks but they're better at Disneyland). Fun fact, my family keeps a running list each trip and we try to beat our ride count from the last one.

I'm so incredibly blessed by all the clients I've helped and met, and truly love this work. I'm so glad you're here! Ready to start planning? Request your free quote and let's make some magic.
